The first in a series of waterproof, tear-resistant, full-color maps to the the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, a 740-mile trail that links the watersheds of New York, Vermont, Quebec, New Hampshire, and Maine. The trail follows Native American travel routes through the rivers of this region and has become the longest inland recreational paddling trail in the northeast. By celebrating the history and culture of the Northern Forest, the Trail, in addition to its recreational value, will contribute towards the economic development of many of the rural communities along the way.
